The latest issue of The Alarm Clock is here! Read about longing for all that is no longer there in God's new world. And about the importance of perspective and humour in the church.

This issue launches a series of articles on leaders in the Bible and leadership in church and society. The first is about Manasseh. "Fortunately, even sometimes in spite of bad leaders, God does continue to intervene and lead Israel and the nations Himself."

Eighty-something Jannie Tinholt tells how important it has always been for her to have people around her to pray and read the Bible with her. "My faith had peaks and valleys, but always the Lord sent signposts," she says.

On page 11, you will find the in memoriam on Rev K. Groeneveld, who passed away on 12 September.
