PowerPoint presentations and sermon outline relief Sunday now available
Just a few more days until Relief Sunday. Each congregation has already received the necessary materials for this purpose to hand out (digitally). For children's work, a story outline with processing has been made available. Furthermore, your (guest) preacher has received a sermon outline.
Church outwards
The theme for this Relief Sunday is 'Church outwards'. We live in dark times. News reports tend to have sad content. In response, we may close ranks and turn inwards as a church. Of course, it is also good to care for each other, but the Bible gives us many examples of help. Like Job! You wouldn't expect it, but Job inspires us in his book to roll up our sleeves. So on Relief Sunday 2024, Job 31 will take centre stage.
Diaconal consultant Erjan van der Linde is really looking forward to it:
"We have been working on this together as a diaconal team and we hope and pray that it may help give hands and feet to our faith!"
