The synod decided to set up a task force that was mandated, among other things, to encourage mutual conversation at various levels within the churches. The task force was also mandated to advise classes and church councils on the conversation on women and ministry. Where necessary, the task force has been called to guide that conversation. Furthermore, the task force will speak to church councils that have confirmed women ministers or are considering doing so.
Deputies for representation inform you that the composition of the task force has recently been decided and the task force can begin its work. The task force is available for support of church councils and classes. Church councils and classes wishing to make use of it can let the secretary of the task force, br.
