Deputies on Evangelisation have published the annual social report for 2021/2022. In gratitude, we look back on the many initiatives we were involved in.
'In a time of increasing church abandonment and advancing secularisation, it is a great encouragement to see that God's work 'just goes on',' writes chairman Rev Rein den Hertog. The report is full of encouraging examples of how God's mission is moving people forward.
Of course, there are also activities that did not or have not yet produced "the explosion of joy over the Gospel" we hoped for. This encourages us to keep looking for possibilities and opportunities. On behalf of the entire team, Rev Peter L.D. Visser writes: 'As missionary consultants, we hope and pray that we may be of significance to the churches. By talking about this joy in the churches.'
