The main elements of the work of deputies Church and Israel are:
- Reflections on (meeting) Israel;
- Equipping the churches;
- encounter with Judaism in Israel and the Netherlands.
We want our encounter with Israel to be typified by the key words listening, serving and witnessing.
Centre for Israel Studies
Our presence in Israel is shaped through our partnership in the Centre for Israel Studies (CIS). As a knowledge centre, the CIS aims to make a balanced vision of the relationship of Church and Israel visible in church and education. Besides having an Israel consultant working in Israel on our behalf through the CIS, the CIS also has a diaconal presence on behalf of our churches. CIS also organises conferences, seminars and study trips. Knowledge gained in and about Israel is available in a variety of publications and articles. Publications and presentations
The deputation's own website offers a lot of information and current affairs in the field of church and Israel.
Several times a year, the magazine Connected published containing Bible studies, reports and background articles.

Deputaten are happy (in close cooperation with CIS) to think along with churches that want to give shape to more education about Israel and diaconal presence in Israel. In this way, a congregational or catechetical evening, church service or Bible circle season can be given substance - in a contemporary and interactive way.
