Hessel has a bunch of keys in his hand. He shows the different keys. I cannot understand what he is saying, but guess he is explaining what you can open and close with the different keys. But, of course, he didn't just grab those keys. In the desert, a Bible study on how to rescue a brother or sister from a wrong path follows after the church service.

In 1991, Hessel and Coby Visser went to live in East Hanahai to learn the language of the Naro-speaking San people. They have returned there ever since, every few weeks, for a weekend with 'their' people.

When they get there, Hessel leads a church service in the little church with the Urk fishing boat on the roof. After the service, people do not go home right away. They drink coffee and talk. Hessel starts reading the Bible together with the people. Very simple, but also very practical. In consultation with the people from East Hanahai, who enjoy coming. They ask questions, they participate fully.

It is by four o'clock when the people of East Hanahai return home that Sunday. Come to think of it in the Netherlands!
