How wonderful it is to be a deacon! You get to make God's love tangible for the vulnerable neighbour with practical help, with advice or financial support.
The diaconate is multifaceted and sometimes complex. That is why we are organising another deacon day. Under the theme 'Being present in Jesus' name', we reflect on diaconate in this day and age. A day of meeting, to encourage and inspire each other. To hear and see how we can make a difference near and far. And how you can then work on that as a local diaconate.
When: Saturday 30 November from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Where: Pniëlchurch, Ghandistraat 2 in Veenendaal
We are counting on a great turnout. Please share this invitation with your (fellow) deacons.
