Faithful parenting offers the family packet 'Bread Necessary' for the time of suffering. It helps families reflect on the Lord Jesus' bread-necessary suffering and the fruit of His resurrection. Using biblical images of bread and wheat grain, child and educator delve into the suffering, death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus.

Christian families who purchase the family packet read about the promised Seed, about the Lord Jesus' suffering and His dying, using a Bible grid. Children learn that this way of the Lord Jesus was much needed: through the dying of this Seed comes new life and fruit.

With a countdown calendar, adaptations and weekly maps, the path of the wheat seed and its biblical meaning becomes visible to children. "We follow the seed through the stages in which it germinates and eventually grows and blossoms. A miracle of God's creation and more than just a biology lesson. It points us to the way the Lord Jesus went and the fruit that followed," states developer Dietie Gommer. The family pack provides material for eight valuable family moments in which children learn about the biblical significance of yeast, the unleavened bread, manna and the Bread of Life, the salt of the earth, dying wheat grain, germinating seed and growth. There is also a text for each week to memorise to sharpen God's Word in the children.

The package can be ordered from www.geloofwaardigopvoeden.nl/broodnodig.
