The handbook for youth workers, from the Working in the Church series, has been updated. This new book, written by experienced youth workers Ingrid Plantinga, Lydia van den Berg and Anko Oussoren, provides a broad basis from practice, theory and the Bible to shape youth work in the church or on the street.
This handbook shows you how young people are put together, how you build a relationship with them, what message you have for them, how you shape youth work and what makes you a youth worker. This book is suitable for both working in the church and (missionary) street work. You can use the book alone or in a group with other youth workers. Each chapter contains discussion questions and assignments to think about or spar with each other. This new edition has been thoroughly revised and is again up to date.
