The latest issue of Doorgeven is the first in the series focusing one by one on the five characteristics of mission. ‘Tell the good news’ is the theme of this first issue of the series.

Rev Arjan Witzier explains what the good news is, who it is up to to share it, and what it looks like. The magazine is then full of examples of ways to share the gospel. For example, there are many creative forms: in Hilversum, church is held in the playground. In north-east Groningen, pioneers work from a farm in Finsterwolde. And in Hoofddorp, children and their parents discover the meaning of Bible stories in Kliederkerk.

Also in the far North, children's work is one of the forms in which people share the gospel. From this area, we learn more, sometimes surprising, ways of sharing the gospel. In the article, we list six of them.

In a closed Islamic country, missionary diaconal workers Deborah and Ruth try to share the gospel through their work in a mother and child centre. That missionary work can also take the form of an office job, Anna Laura Visser discovered. She talks about her work at Trans World Radio.

Because there are few theology courses in the French-speaking region, some African students study in France. Such is the case with Antoine from Cameroon. He talks about life and study at the faculty in Aix-en-Provence and how he wants to contribute to spreading the good news.

This issue also contains a photo report on the food security project in Mozambique and an infographic on the average person's journey to faith. Miranda Renkema, consultant on church order and church law, explains why church law is also fully missionary. In addition, Thai Christians share their testimony in videos.
