The Christian Reformed Churches in the Netherlands (CGK) have been recognised by the tax authorities as an Algemeen Nut Beogende Instelling (ANBI) and have received a group decision. From 1 January 2008, all independent divisions, partnerships and (other) ecclesiastical legal entities of our church are 'automatically' eligible for the tax facilities of exemption from gift and inheritance tax, and for deductibility of donations for income tax.
All local churches and their associated organisations such as diaconate, missionary committee, evangelism committee, work groups relief at home and abroad, as well as the partnerships listed in the Yearbook that belong to our denomination are thus covered by the issued group decision.
We recommend using the name of the church when naming bank accounts, etc., e.g. 'Romania Committee of the CGK at Heuvelheide'.
