The general synod 2013, based on the report of the Committee on Confidentiality of Pastors (VCP), decided to establish a compulsory mentorship for newly beginning pastors for the duration of two years (see decision booklet february 2014 no 2 pages 413, 414 and 415). The implementation of this decision is vested in Church Work Support Centre.
The private synod nominated pastors who, after attending a mentoring course, were appointed as mentors.
Candidates to be considered by the Apeldoorn Theological University have been made eligible and received an appeal, will be assigned a mentor after the class examination.
The church council of the congregation to which the candidate has accepted the appeal contacts Steunpunt Kerkenwerk and reports that the candidate has been formally admitted. Steunpunt Kerkenwerk starts the process of appointing a mentor. In the preliminary process, Steunpunt Kerkenwerk has already made contact with the candidate and the church council.
The information on this page is the responsibility of financial affairs deputies.
