As a church, how do you give hands and feet to your missionary calling? Together with the IZB, deputaten evangelisatie offer missionary annual themes to find direction in this.
Materials and guidance
It involves more than helping with a theme and providing materials; we also offer guidance in collaboration with the IZB. What does it mean to be part of God's mission as a church? How may that become visible in personal life? Together with your pastor and a team from the congregation, we want to help you discuss this over a whole church season.
People find it complicated to start talking about questions of faith. It takes courage. This track helps with that.

In consultation with church council and/or missionary committee, we work out the annual theme and make a plan of action. In principle, we are available to the congregation for four evenings, apart from a preliminary discussion and conclusion, during which we look together at the possibility of follow-up.

For the whole municipality
The chapters of the IZB Focus method form the heart of such a yearly route, supplemented and supported by equipping the church council, circles and congregation. We like to look for creative ways, broader than just in proclamation and circle work, to involve the congregation as a whole in the annual theme.
The material is aimed at equipping church members to be disciples of Christ in their daily environment.

Also for vacant congregations
Even if your congregation is vacant, we would like to make this offer to you and work with you to find a pastor who can provide in the services in which the missionary year theme is addressed.
A small shrinking congregation began with a certain hesitation: what will all be asked of us. But there is a lot of openness to take steps.
