People who do not yet know Jesus we all have around us. What could be better than dedicating them to our Father?
The prayer movement ‘Your Kingdom Come’ makes this challenge practical: between Ascension and Pentecost, pray every day for five people in your own neighbourhood. These could be family members or friends, but also neighbours, colleagues or other acquaintances.
In your prayer, you can pray that these people come to know Jesus and become filled with the Holy Spirit. As the disciples looked up between Ascension and Pentecost, full of expectation of the Spirit, may we do the same.
