Riches in Christ - The hope of the gospel for Kurds
At the annual inspiration day on D.V. 21 June, Gospel & Muslims gives extra attention to the question of what we as Christians can do for Kurds in our country. There will be a focus on their background and missionary opportunities that take language and culture into account.
In the afternoon, the following workshops will be offered:
- Apologetics: Increasingly, Muslims are challenging Christians with criticism of the Christian faith, whether on the internet, in the streets, at school or at work. How can we give a good substantive response to this?
- Differences Islam-Christian faith: Superficially, Islam is quite similar to the Christian faith. In this workshop, we will try to give a good comparison on key points.
- Mixed marriages: Islam is also spreading in the Netherlands as Muslim men enter into relationships with Christian women. From a Christian perspective, what arguments are there for not going along with this? How do you deal with it if Islam does enter your family that way?
- Al-Massira: Al-Massira is a beautiful course consisting of a series of videos in various languages that are very suitable for Muslims. This workshop will explain how to use this method when interacting with Muslims.
