On 2 March, the missionary module starts: Church and Culture at the Evangelical College. In this module, you will look at the relationship between the church and the surrounding culture and learn, among other things, how to connect to spread the gospel.
The module is part of the HBO programme in Missionary Work. The inspiring lectures are given on four Saturdays, in Veenendaal.
The module consists of the subjects Worldviews and World Religions, Intercultural Communication and Pastoral Care and Global Christianity. You get tools to read and understand culture from a Christian perspective. This will enable you to function in an unfamiliar culture and connect to spread the gospel. Furthermore, you will gain insight into the spread and impact of Christianity worldwide.
