A new congregation has been established in Groningen. On Wednesday 2 September, the elders and deacons of the new CGK Stad en Ommeland were ordained.
‘Stad en Ommelanden’ was formed from the Groningen church as a result of profound differences within the congregation and the church council. By giving each other a little more space, both church councils hope to be able to maintain their relationship. The new congregation holds its services in the Jeruzalemkerk.
Rev. W.C. van Slooten led the installation service.
Unless the LORD builds the house, its builders labour in vain; unless the LORD guards the city, the watchman keeps watch in vain.
