The church is for everyone. And we need one another to share and live out the Gospel. But how does being a church together – deaf and hearing people together – take shape in practice?

The Interdenominational Ministry for the Deaf has produced a new leaflet on this subject. The organisation hopes that this brochure will help people to better understand the world of deaf Christians and that it will inspire us to work together to build a church where everyone feels at home. So that the church may flourish, particularly in learning from one another – however different our sensory experiences may be.

In addition, they are re-distributing a flyer published previously, which offers practical guidance on how churches can engage with their deaf and hard-of-hearing members.

If you have any further questions, please contact the Interdenominational Ministry for the Deaf: secretariaat@doofenkerk.nl.
