Brazil: Igrejas Evangelicas Reformadas no Brasil

Our churches have been in correspondence with the Igrejas Evangelicas Reformadas no Brasil for some time. The confessional scriptures adopted by the IERB include the Heidelberg Catechism and the Dutch Creed.

This denomination, which grew out of emigration to Brazil, currently consists of eight local churches with about 2,500 members in total. The congregations of Carambeí, Castrolanda, Arapoti and Sao Paulo still have regular services in Dutch. Since 1974, a pastor of Christian Reformed origin has always served the IERB.

With this church, we have full correspondence.
