A church that is involved in mission and supports missionaries – that is a wonderful goal. But how do you achieve that in your church?
What works well depends entirely on how your council operates. Our consultants are therefore happy to work with you to find the best solution. For some time now, you have been able to invite us for a mission meeting or mission service. From now on, you can also invite us to smaller gatherings. We offer the following options:
For church councils
We will discuss the opportunities in your congregation. Think of it as a ‘missionary visitation’ in which we look together at how your congregation's involvement in missionary work abroad can strengthen. We will address questions such as: What is the congregation called to? What are we all doing already? What more can we do? And is there anything we need help with?
For (new)mission committees
We help set up, restart or expand committee work. What suits the parish? Where can you start? And how can you get others enthusiastic?
For youth
We give a guest lecture at Sunday school or a presentation at the youth club, preferably simultaneously for multiple age groups. We tailor the content to your congregation, but in any case it focuses on missionary calling and mission projects.
We will soon be offering the opportunity to attend a regional meeting. This is relevant for all parishioners. More information will follow.
