Since 1 October, the mission consultant has received the long-desired reinforcement. Arjen Verburg has joined as assistant missionary counsellor for twenty hours a week. He will mainly deal with contacts with our churches, i.e. with you.
Arjen is 39 years old, married and father of three children. The is family is a member of the Lijnbaan church in Aalsmeer. Besides his work for Mission, he runs his own catering business.
"Missionary work has my heart. We are all called to this as Christians: make disciples. Every day people die without having heard anything of Jesus. As Christian Reformed Churches, we do a lot of good in the field of missionary work. I look forward to supporting that work."
