Ab and Clarine Mol are one of two missionary couples sent out from our churches to Isaan province in Thailand. Under the name Good News Thailand, they share news about their work through various channels.
Thailand - Isaan
The picture below shows Isaan province in northeastern Thailand. Isaan has over 21 million inhabitants and is more than four times the size of the Netherlands. It is Thailand's poorest province. The average salary is below three thousand bhat (about eighty euros) per month. Buddhism is the largest religion, 98.1% of the population call themselves Buddhists.
The green boxes on the map indicate Christians and a local church. The red boxes indicate no church and no Christians. According to the website of Joshua Project 380 missionary workers are needed for the coming years.
Good News Thailand
The Mol family has its own website, Good News Thailand, and now also a YouTube channel! On this channel, they post a new video every week. In the videos, the family wants to introduce you to the work God is doing in Thailand. You will find short testimonies of Thai Christians. They tell how their lives were before they met Jesus, how He came into their lives and how their lives have changed since then.
Practising in witnesses
The YouTube channel is firstly intended to help these brothers and sisters tell their stories so that they can practice sharing their faith and what God has done in their lives. A second goal is to capture these testimonies as an inspiring testimony to the power of the gospel. Finally, the Mol family hopes that our brothers and sisters in the Netherlands will be encouraged by seeing how God is changing lives worldwide, even in places where the number of Christians is still small.
You can subscribe yourself to this channel and receive a notification whenever a new video is posted. We also hope and pray that viewers will be encouraged to take every opportunity to share their testimony with others.
