The new Doorgeven* is out! The theme of this issue is Church in mission field. These days, that mission field is not far away. We ourselves live in the middle of it.
Stories from far and near
What are churches doing to reach the world with the Good News? Is this happening differently in our mission areas than in the Netherlands? This edition of Doorgeven is full of inspiring stories as well as videos (!) of churches set in motion by the Holy Spirit.
Materials and tips
It starts with prayer, awe of God and making space for encounter. Then opportunity arises to breathe out God's love, so to speak, among those around us. What better opportunity to also get started with diaconate, evangelism and/or mission, either by yourself or with a group? We have two pages full of great ideas and materials.
Share your story with us
Have you or your congregation already been set in motion? We would be honoured to hear and share your story! It does not have to be spectacular, small blessings may also be cherished. Contact communications officer Arianne Frelink at a.frelink@cgk.nl.
*Doorgeven is a magazine about the work of diaconate, evangelism and mission of our churches. It is sent free of charge to members of the CGK. Did Doorgeven not reach your mat? Take a free subscription via the application form.
