Counselling soldiers
The Protestant Spiritual Care Service (DPGV) - at the request of the government - provides pastoral care to military personnel and, if necessary, to the military's supporters and veterans. The emphasis of the work is on counselling military personnel during their military deployment and during their training. This guidance is carried out by the Armed Forces Spiritual Guidance Officers, the so-called armed forces pastors.
Through the DPGV, deputies work closely with other Protestant churches to ensure spiritual care for the military.
