Worship

Publications and background information on church service and liturgy.

The worship deputation has the following tasks:

  • To have published and posted on our churches' websites all liturgical forms adopted by general synods of the CGK up to and including 2016 (download the forms here).
  • Continuing the study of the (textual and musical) singability of the Psalms, in consultation with young people, among others, and considering new initiatives.
  • Continuing the study of the possibility of greeting and blessing in worship by others than pastors.
  • The confessional writings are on our website, under confession and church order.
