You have no doubt already noticed that this website has been completely revamped. More than ever, cgk.nl is a convenient central information point, with all relevant information for and about the Christian Reformed Churches.
Finding information more easily
There is a wealth of valuable information available to church councils, deaconies, committees of management and sextons, mission and evangelism committees and other church members who have taken on certain tasks and responsibilities in the church. To make this information quicker and easier to find, a number of changes have been made to the website. Many of you have asked for a clear menu. In addition, the search function has been greatly improved. Furthermore, all available reports, handouts, brochures and other downloads conveniently brought together on one page with a handy selection filter.
New design
The new website is not only much clearer, but has also been given a fresher look. The design takes into account people with impaired vision. The website design is by communications agency Apt & Co In Veenendaal.
Equipping and support
Now that the Netherlands itself has become a mission field, the need arose to encourage churches to be more outward-looking. There is therefore more space for, among other things, inspiring blogs, equipping, ideas and the service offerings of the deputations diaconate, evangelisation and shipment. All the work done by these deputations at home and abroad can be found as always on the overview of projects.
Your input
The new layout may take some getting used to. Please take your time to explore the website. We are confident that these improvements will allow us to inform, inspire and invite you to get involved in many areas even better.
We would love it if you helped us improve the website even further and keep it up to date. Do you see any mistakes on the new website, miss anything or have news and photos to share? If so, please contact communications officer Arianne Frelink.
