New forms from Deputies of Mutual Assistance and Advice (OBenA) are available for congregations wishing to apply for support.

Deputation of Mutual Assistance and Advice

The Mutual Assistance and Advice Deputation (OB&A) provides financial support to (small) congregations within our church confederation. Another important task is to provide financial and architectural advice, also to congregations that do not need financial support. This help enables the gospel to be preached in more places.

Financial deficit support

If your congregation has fewer than 250 members and is facing a financial deficit in 2025, contact deputies OB&A.

Before 1 February Please send the support application form and the MYOPs (multi-year building maintenance plans) to the secretariat. Then your application can be considered in time.

Financial aid application forms can be found at deputies' page Mutual Assistance and Advice. For more information, also read the instructions on that page and OBenA's brochure. The old forms are invalid.

Only timely submissions will allow the application to be considered in March. Support applications that cannot be processed in March will slide to the June meeting.

Support for appeal work

If your congregation has fewer than 250 members and you are about to start vocation work or hire a church worker, contact deputies OB&A in advance. More information can be found on the page on appeal support.
